Amazing Spider-Man #29 belongs to the seventh series, which began in 2022. The story is written by Zeb Wells and features artwork by Ed McGuinness. In this issue, Peter Parker continues fighting crime and dealing with both personal and superhero challenges within the current storyline of the series.
Variant cover 29B is a special Disney100 variant by Giada Perissinotto, released to celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary. It is part of the limited “What If…?” variant line, which shows classic Disney characters in iconic Marvel roles. The cover features Minnie Mouse dressed as Captain Marvel with the line “What if... Minnie Mouse was Captain Marvel?” It is a highly attractive collectible cover, but it does not affect the contents of the comic itself.
