Description
Amazing Spider-Man #34 continues the story in which Peter Parker is infected by the “sins” of Norman Osborn, turning him into a darker, more vengeful version of Spider-Man. In this issue, Spidey visits everyone who has hurt him recently and takes revenge, including characters such as Tombstone and Paul. Norman Osborn and Queen Goblin attempt to stop him before Spider-Man goes too far.
The story is written by Zeb Wells, with art by Patrick Gleason, colors by Marcio Menyz, and lettering by VC’s Joe Caramagna. The cover is by John Romita Jr., Scott Hanna, and Marcio Menyz. This issue serves as a transition chapter, with many characters moving pieces into place and setting up later events. Its main theme is Spider-Man’s psychological battle with his inner demons, visually represented by the Green Goblin side of his mind.
The John Romita Jr. cover shows Spider-Man’s face split into two halves: one side is the classic Spidey mask, while the other belongs to Queen Goblin, not Hobgoblin, and is strongly green and demonic. This visual symbolizes Peter Parker’s inner struggle under the influence of goblin sins and his transformation into a darker version of himself.
The comic is in VF (Very Fine) condition, which according to collector standards means very good condition with only minor signs of wear. It may show small surface scratches, slightly worn corners, or light bends, but overall it remains well preserved and attractive. This condition is highly valued by collectors. We are not a professional grading company, and all grades are assigned to the best of our knowledge and estimate. Customers should always assess the comic’s condition for themselves using the provided front and back photos.
