Batman and Scooby-Doo Mysteries #12 is the final issue of the third series, published in December 2024. The story was written by J. Torres, with art and cover by Dario Brizuela. The action takes place at the Gotham City Opera House, where Batman and Mystery Inc. investigate a mystery involving a scarecrow-like figure called Phantasm that threatens the building’s safety.
The team must exorcise this dangerous spirit before a serious accident can happen, while the building owners and Dr. Leslie Thompkins are also involved with plans to use the space for community purposes. The issue delivers a familiar mix of tension, humor, and nostalgia that comes from the crossover between Batman and Scooby-Doo.
