Classic Star Wars #18 was published in April 1994 under the Dark Horse Comics imprint as part of a 20-issue series that reprints Archie Goodwin’s original Star Wars newspaper comics with art by Al Williamson from the early 1980s. The series features newly created covers made specifically for the reprint run.
This issue delivers an exciting Star Wars adventure in which Han Solo and Chewbacca race through the jungle to find Luke Skywalker, who is under attack by a dangerous lizard-like creature from Yavin. Ben and S’Ybil also help with their abilities, giving the story a classic vintage feel with the adventurous spirit that defines Star Wars.
The series is set in 3 ABY, after the Battle of Yavin, and continues to expand on the stories of the well-known film trilogy characters and their fight for freedom against the Empire.
The comic is in VF (Very Fine) condition, which means a very well-preserved copy with only minor signs of wear.
