Description

Deadpool (2008 2nd Series) #16A is the second chapter of the four-part “Want You To Want Me” storyline, where Deadpool, after years as a mercenary, longs for recognition and wants to become a legitimate X-Man, at least in his own mind. The problem is that nobody, especially the X-Men, wants him there. With Wade’s unpredictable behavior, shifting morality, and constant danger to friends and enemies alike, it is easy to see why.

Written by Daniel Way with lively art by Paco Medina, the issue delivers the fast pacing and humor that define the series. The X-Men, especially Cyclops, have to improvise to keep Deadpool close enough for control but far enough away from actual team missions. The result is a sharp mix of action, satire, and absurd self-aware humor that turns superhero-team rules into a parody of their own.

This issue also works as a subtle tie-in to “Nation X/Utopia,” placing the X-Men and mutant conflict around San Francisco in the larger Marvel crossover landscape. It is a strong pick for fans of action, dark humor, and Marvel crossover stories.

The comic is in FN (Fine) condition, which means a well-kept copy with visible but moderate signs of use, such as worn corners or light creases. It is complete, readable, and suitable for any Deadpool or contemporary Marvel collection. Customers should always verify the condition using the actual photos of the copy.
