Thor #394 is a 1988 Copper Age Marvel issue in Direct Edition format, featuring the story “…And How Shall Mortals Know Ye?”. The issue follows Maddie Arnstein as she is tasked with rewriting a Thor movie script and, in the process, explores Thor’s history through a meta-style narrative that blends present-day framing with classic Marvel continuity. A short Daredevil scene appears alongside a large number of cameo characters, including Hogun, Fandral, Volstagg, Balder, Giant-Man, Iron Man, Hercules, Loki, Absorbing Man, Odin, the Executioner, Cobra, Mr. Hyde, and Jane Foster.
