This 2024 facsimile edition faithfully reproduces the legendary first issue of Wolverine’s 1982 four-issue limited series, written by Chris Claremont and illustrated by Frank Miller. Set in Japan, the story follows Logan as he battles dangerous yakuza bosses and ninjas from the Hand organization, while encountering new allies and enemies like Yukio and Shingen Harada. This tale is widely regarded as one of the most significant and defining stories in shaping Wolverine’s identity as a Marvel character.
